What do I do if my designer isn't listed?
If your designer isn't listed, select "Other" from the designer drop down list and then write the designer name (and the style number if you know it) in the style field. That way, the designer name will appear in all searches and results.
How do I edit my listing?
Login to your PreOwned account and click "edit listing" to make changes. Of course, you can edit your listing as often as you'd like. There's never a fee.
Should I offer a return policy?
Offering a return policy is completely up to you, but we do recommend it, and here's why. Buying a wedding dress is an emotional and financial decision. It will make it easier for a woman (who has never met you) to buy it from you if she knows that she can return it if it really doesn't fit or really doesn't flatter. If you're going to offer a return policy here is what we suggest: 1) Offer it for a finite period: The buyer should have to notify you within 24 hours and should have to ship it back within 5 days of receipt. 2) The buyer should be responsible for shipping and insurance charges both ways. Insurance and signature on delivery is mandatory. Shipping fees are not refundable in the case of a return. 3) Consider charging a "return fee" of 5-15% of your asking price. This will encourage only serious buyers from taking advantage of your returns offer.
Who pays for shipping and how much will it cost?
I have an interested buyer, now what?
Typically buyers pay for shipping and that cost is added to the seller's asking price. Shipping costs depend on the size of the box and the distance between the buyer and seller. Use our shipping cost calculators here
to get an estimate.
Yay! You've found a buyer. We recommend Paypal or Escrow.com for a smooth and safe transaction. Find all of your next steps here
