When I first got engaged, I was just like you-- I sought out the most perfect gown. What I was looking for was classic and yet unique, I wanted to feel like a princess on my big day. The Countess dress by Monique Lhuillier absolutely fit the bill.
The dress has spaghetti straps and a deep V with added padding so undergarments are a non-issue. Over one shoulder is an off-the-shoulder row of rosettes. The classic signature Monique skirt is like nothing else, accented with roses throughout. I had a $1500 whip-cream bustle added at Nina's in Beverly Hills. I added the belt after wishing I had a little bit of bling :) It was tied on, not sewn on. The color is blush-- the best way to describe it is that it a pink shade of white. It is absolutely beautiful.
I got married nearly a year ago and the dress has been hanging in the closet since. I live in a non-smoking home and the dress has been professionally cleaned and is ready for your big day.
When I decided to list my dress on POWD.com, I thought of how many savvy brides are looking for the perfect dress that would make their day so special. I hope the dress makes you feel as princess-like as I did on my big day. This is a great opportunity to pick up a designer gown at a fraction of the price. All alterations were done at a professional bridal salon near our venue in Pasadena.
