I am a size 4 in nearly everything. My bust size is 34A. The sample from the shop actually fit pretty well, but the ladies suggested I purchase the size 12 so there would be room for alterations (and just in case the sample in their store had stretched from all of the people trying it on!). I love how fitted it is around the bust and torso- I think it's super flattering. I remember it being super comfortable and surprisingly light and cool. I have not even put this Hayley Paige dress on since picking it up, so it is practically untouched. It took nearly half a year for the dress to come in, so it could be your lucky day if you don't want to wait that long!
The backstory of the dress: I found a dress I loved from my first trip to BHLDN. Only probelm was that it was light pink and just didn't go with the bridesmaids dresses I wanted... so I put it out of my memory for the time being. Since I live on the west coast and my family is on the east coast, we only ended up going to a couple of stores together, and I wanted to make a decision while I had everyone with me. I had a great experience finding this dress and really think it is so gorgeous and flattering, so I decided to buy it! However, after having to rearrange our wedding due to COVID, I felt that the dress didn't fit our new "minimony" plans. So I ended up purchasing the original BHLDN dress I loved because our guest list shrunk from 275 to 16, and because it went better with our new beach location.
I hope you are able to have your bridal moment in this dress! It is classic but can be glitzed up with simple additions (like the belts you can see in some photos) or worn as is!
