Theia Serena Wedding Dress
From the Theia website:
"Truly a one of a kind piece. ike a heirloom, this gown exudes extraordinary appeal. The V-neck and open v-back soft tulle gown is hand embroidered with thousands of glass beads, sequins and pearls in a majestic scalloped pattern. Teardrop pearls dangling from the cap sleeves really make this dress come alive."
The dress hugs the body in all the right places, and is very forgiving and universally flattering. I felt like it highlighted what I wanted it to highlight, and camoflauged what I wanted hidden. The beading captures the light beautifully---you really feel regal moving in it. I changed into a second dress for the reception, so it wasn't worn longer than a few hours.
I had it professionally cleaned after the wedding. There is a dime-sized tear in the tulle at the bottom of the dress (see picture), but it could easily be repaired. The tear really isn't noticeable though, so by no means is it something you would need to have done.
I am 5'8" and wore 3" heels, so the dress was hemmed to that length (I still have the extra fabric, if you're taller and would like to add it back). It was also taken in a little at the waist to fit (my waist is 28"). The only other alterations were the addition of bra cups (which can be removed) and a bustle.
New with tags floor length veil, also from Theia. I got it for free with the dress purchase, but did not end up wearing it. MSRP $295
