Priscilla of Boston Wedding Dress
Diamond white silk organza A-line gown with a princess neckline. This classically graceful dress is accented by Alencon lace on the bodice and hem. A beautifully simple gown that will always be in style. The silk organza fabric is surprisingly breathable and lightweight. It really looks more like a slightly textured silk satin (i.e. no transparent layers). I am the only owner and only had it on for a few hours at my wedding party.
I an 8 or 10 street size, but I had to buy a size 16 to fit my bust. The seamstress altered the waist and hips to fit me and also sewed in bra cups. So if you're a busty girl, this dress is for you! If not, I've heard it's pretty easy for a seamstress to take in a bust (especially since the lace isn't on the bust so the seamstress wouldn't have to remove and re-lay it). I had an elaborate bustle (cost- $650) added to the dress. The bustle consists of gathered layers that is elegant and fun at the same time. It is shown in one of the pictures.
I am offering the Priscilla of Boston chapel-length shaped veil with 3/8" diamond white satin ribbon trim for $100 ($300 original price). It is also shown in some of the pictures. Also, the headpiece shown in the pictures is a white and pink pearl and crystal tiara purchased from Priscilla of Boston ($175 original price). I will sell it for $75.
