The Monique Lhuillier Aviva gown new is priced at $13,000, and the veil at $2,300, before tax. Two pictures above were featured on Monique Lhullier's Instagram @moniquelhullierbridal on June 18 and June 30.

RENTAL
I would consider renting the dress for $4,000. In order to do so, I would require payment of $8,000 and when I received the dress back in good condition, I would return $4,000 to you. This would all be included in the PayPal terms for both of our protection. For rental option, please note price is non-negotiable.

HOW CAN I TRY IT ON?

If you would like to try this dress on from the retailer, the Platinum Collecion is only carried at a handful of bridal boutique retailers. If you are not located near a Platinum Collection retailer, you may request it from your Monique Lhullier retailer either free of charge during a Monique Lhullier trunk show (just call and request your retailer include it in their trunk show), or for $150 you may have Monique Lhullier send it to your retailer for you to try at any time.

You may also travel to try on the exact dress. I can arrange to have the dress in Chicago, IL or Naples, Florida.

WHAT IS THE PLATINUM COLLECTION?

The Monique Lhuillier, "Aviva" is a timeless vision from the Platinum Collection, which includes only the highest end of Monique Lhullier's gowns. Made of the finest fabrics, this dress is overwhelmingly impressive and elegant. Horse hair tulle and Spanish tulle are hand embroidered with "confetti" beadwork that create an illusion look. Rather than having bare shoulders, the illusion bateau neckline with sleeves gives you a polished, flawless look. This Monique Lhuillier has a slight blush color with white and silver beadwork, that make the dress look off white, ivory, or blush depending on the lighting. Beadwork is hand stitched into multiple layers of the tulle. As a result, the way the dress picks up the sunlight and candlelight will give you a shimmering glow throughout your wedding day. It is the most spectacular dress I have ever seen.

PERSONAL DETAILS:

This was the first wedding dress I saw at my very first appointment. After six other bridal boutiques and nearly 40 other dresses, it was clear the Aviva was the one! The quality of other designers in similar price points was far less than the Aviva's. There is something so unique about this gown and of course, the Monique Lhullier Platinum Collection does not disappoint. You will be the most stunning bride on your big day. Once you see this gown in person, like me, you will undoubtedly realize no other gown can compare.

PRELOVED PURCHASE:

I strongly considered purchasing the Aviva on one of the consignment sites. I even travelled to see one dress in person. Sadly, they were all altered too drastically, changing the inherent shape and structure of the dress's perfect design. For example, one was a size 8 sample dress altered to be a size 2, making the alterations noticeable. Or, fabric was added to the bust to make the dress more matronly. After months of frustration, I decided to purchase it "made to order" directly from Monique Lhuillier, and hope another bride that loves this dress as much as I do finds it to wear on her wedding day. Maybe she even passes it along when she is done.
