This truly beautiful Claire Pettibone gown was a backup option for my wedding in December, 2016. I didn't end up wearing the gown so it is still brand new and never worn by anyone other than me trying it on.
I did buy the dress as a sample gown, but I was the first and only one to try it on as a sample before I purchased it. Full price the gown is $5500 so this is an absolute steal (hence I couldn't pass it up)
I haven't had any alternations made to the gown, nor did I have it drycleaned. There is one very small pull in the bead work threading along the plunging neck line (see the last 2 pictures to show the pull). This can very easily be fixed.
I am 5.2" inch - with 3.5" inch heels on, the dress is still too long for me. I would need to take it up another 4+ inches.
It is a size 8 (USA) - purchased in the USA.
The dress comes with the original LVD bridal gown bag it was purchased in.
*** I live in downtown Chicago and welcome any try on's - I know how important it is to make sure the gown is 100% perfect.
Styling Notes: The Marquise gown combines the perfect blend of vintage and modern, sexy and sophisticated, and the subtle beading and lace details evoke an unforgettable romance that could fit into virtually any wedding theme or setting.
With a plunging V-neckline and back, and delicate and subtle bead work this gown is beautifully stunning.
The vintage inspired lace and champagne layered tulle overskirt and train add so much interest to the gown and make it fit like a glove.
