  1. I honestly do not understand what all the fuss is about. This dress is not stylish, nor beautiful, despite the prestigious designer’s label.
It lacks personality – on the contrary of what media keep telling us, maybe to convince us otherwise? – and doesn’t even suit her. I would have never, ever put my money on such a number, for it’s not a number at all.
Another story can be said of the veil and tiara! The only two things which brought a bit of character to the overall dress disaster.
What exactly media are praising here? A rather plain, boring, simple dress carved out of some thick white fabric who I believe no one would wear for their own wedding. There is absolutely nothing lovely about it, aside the veil and tiara as said.
A far cry from the Givenchy we got to know by means of splendid creations such as those seen in Breakfast at Tiffany’s! A far cry too from the lovely number wore by Kate, or her sister Pippa. Sorry, no matter the paid marketing for Givenchy media are delivering, this is a fiasco in my humble view.
We have seen better and nothing will convince me that this baggy dress is “a classy statement”.
