Gorgeous wedding dress by Jenny Packham. I wanted to have that 1920s/1930s feel and this dress is absolutely perfect for that! The dress consists of a silk double-layer underdress and a beaded overlay dress which are separate of each other. It's light to wear and is incredibly comfortable to wear; I didn't want to take it off! However, since I won't be wearing this dress again, I have decided to sell it so that another bride can enjoy it as much as I did.
So, ofcourse, the dress has been worn once, but no more. The dress is in good condition. A few beads are missing, but you have to search hard to spot them. Also, there are some stains on the inside of the underdress, but you cannot see it when you wear the dress. As the pictures show, the dress had a bit of a train. As a result, my heels got caught in the overlay dress which caused some tears. Therefore, the bottom 10 cm needs to be taken off. However, since the dress had a bit of a train (which i think it shouldnt have had) and was slightly too long for me, it will fit perfectly for someone my height: I am 171 cm and wore 7,5 cm heels.
I bought the dress on a special sale at Bloomfeld in Amsterdam. The original price was €5200 but I payed €3300. However it was still handmade for me, so definitely no sample!
When I bought the dress my measurements were as follows:
bust size: 81 cm
waist size: 66 cm
hip size: 89 cm
These are the measurements the dress was made for.
The fabric stretches slightly and a cute blue ribbon is sewn in between the two layers of the underdress. For any kind of question or more pictures, please don't hesitate to ask!
I lowered the price, because we are moving abroad and won't be able to bring the dress with us. For that reason, a good offer will be considered too. I mainly want to make another bride happy with it!
