This is a beautiful, silk taffeta, strapless gown with a ruched bodice with a subtle sweetheart neckline. The overskirt is gathered and tucked with silk flowers. The seamstress added a French bustle that uses hook-and-eyes rather than ties to make bustling very easy and extra secure. I wore this dress for my May 2009 wedding. I absolutely love this dress but I truly have no reason to keep it in a box in the closet. The dress is in very good condition and has been professionally dry-cleaned. There are no stains from food or wine and no tears.
