Dress Description:

You may recognize this dress from the cover of the Nov/Dec 2008 BRIDES magazine! This is a beautiful two-piece, ivory Monique Lhuilier gown with sash included. This is a two-piece IVORY strapless dress and the GOLD sash covers where the corset and skirt meet. It's a very lightweight taffeta (silk), so it was really comfortable to wear for my Summer 2008 wedding! It is in excellent condition and has been professionally cleaned, preserved and boxed up. I loved it, and want someone else to feel as special as I did wearing it. PLEASE NOTE: The top is a size 6 and the skirt is a size 8. Alterations were done professionally at The Wedding Salon in Manhasset (where I purchased the dress). It fits a street size of 2-8 and the only alteration was it was hemmed for my 5'3" height w/approx. 2 inch heels. Measurements bust 34 & waist 29. Cups are sewed in the bust for support without the use of a bra, you can take them out if you prefer. I personally found it much more comfortable & convenient to have the cups sewed in. It also has a unique tied bustle to pick up the dress, designed and sewed by The Wedding Salon.
