Dress Description:

This dress is in perfect condition. It is a size 10, though I'm closer to a street size 6/8 and it fits me perfectly. It is an a-line - one of the pictures shows it as tapered but this one is a-line. I purchased it at Saks as a sample and as you could guess, Saks keeps their sample dresses in impecable shape. This dress would cost over $6500 new. Carolina Herrera has this amazing white fabric with etches that give the dress an even more designer look. It is strapless with a ribbon that criss-crosses around the waist. The ribbon is not removable but is the same weight as the fabric. It has a bit of flair but is by no means a "big" dress. You could easily add more tuille if that is what you're looking for. The saleswoman also said that some girls will alter the dress to tuck just a bit below the waist if they're looking for a more slim leg rather than an a-line. This dress is in new condition and would need no alterations other than sizing - you wouldn't even need to clean it. The only reason I am selling this dress is because - under sample sale pressure - I bought two and went with the other. Though, it was a really tough decision considering how beautiful this dress is and how amazingly flattering it is both in person and in pictures.
