Dress Description:

Modern and unique strapless dress by Augusta Jones (http://augustajones.com). This dress is discontinued and no longer available. The dress is made of white taffeta with a tulle overlay and matching tulle rose buds and crystals scattered over the tulle overlay creating a very whimsical feel. The designer was nice enough to customize this made-to-order dress by lowering the back with a 3" scoop (originally it went straight across the back high at the shoulder blades). The dressis very well constructed with a corset on the inside to really suck you in. The dress runs true to size, it is a size 8 and the only alteration needed was for the hem to be taken up a bit, I am 5'8.5" and wore 1.5" heels so there should be plenty of room to hem again if needed. The bridal salon I bought it at (http://www.exquisite-bride.com) had their own professional seamstress do the hem as well as put in a french bustle, which looks amazing with the tulle train (chapel length train). I purchased this dress on 7/07 and it didn't come in until 1/08 and remained at the salon until 6/08 and was worn on 6/21/08. The dress has not been preserved, but is in great condition, since the wedding night it has remained in my closet (smoke-free home) in it's garment bag since I debated on keeping it or selling it. I am also allowing the buyer to return the dress up to 3 days after they receive it in the mail if they pay for return shipment and insurance to Hammonton, NJ.
