Gorgeous two-piece, corset style, strapless sweetheart neckline, full box-pleated skirt with sweeping train, flattering ruched bodice, lace-up back, with detachable vintage-looking crystal brooch. So flattering on many body types and needs little if any alteration due to the lace-up corset. Makes you look super skinny! Dress was hemmed minimally (1/4"), couture hidden slit pockets (for your hankie and lip gloss!) were added, as well as a hidden three-tie french bustle. In my opinion, these additions add tremendously to the value of the dress. The small amount of fabric that was hemmed from the skirt has been retained and if you would like to wrap it around your bridal bouquet or use it in any other way, I will ship it with the dress. Here is the story of this beautiful dress: I bought it before deciding on my wedding venue. It was my dream dress. It made me cry when I first tried it on! I love it. But once I had decided on my venue, I decided this dress was too grand and elegant and formal for our more low-key location. I purchased a more casual wedding dress to wear instead. This dress has been stored in a cool and dry place in my smoke-free, pet-free home for just a short time, since I purchased it. It has never been worn (outside of trying it on at the bridal boutique where it was purchased).
