I wore this gown to my wedding in August 2008. It was purchased in Macy's Herald Square (NYC) this past summer and customized with several options - I had a really nice bustle made for this dress. Therefore, you can keep it down for the ceremony, and then using the 4 hidden buttons, put the skirt up - allowing you to enjoy the rest of the night in the dress. The dress was ordered in size 16, even though I wear a size 10. It was then tailored down to fit me. If you wear a size 10 or 12, this dress would be perfect on you. Its color is WHITE, not ivory, as it comes in 2 options. The retail value was $1100 plus I paid $450 in alterations. My height is 5'4" and the shoes I wore were about 3 inch heels, so length-wise the dress was made to fit me as well. The details on this dress are amazing and the dress is extremely light-weight, as its made from Taffetta material. This dress is also very flattering on anyone who doesnt have a perfect figure. It conceals all flaws :) Its stored in its original garment bag in a cool place. I did not have it professionally cleaned, but can do so for additional charge, or you can clean it yourself.
