Dress Description:
This is an "Antique" style Monique Lhuillier dress I bought from Hannelore's, an upscale bridal salon in Alexandria, VA. I wore it once for my wedding, and it is in excellent condition with no tears, stains or missing buttons. I had it preserved and dry cleaned immediately after the wedding. This dress is normally shown with a silver cummerbund, but I chose to order a gold silk sash instead which cost me an additional $200. The bodice has beautiful beading that is also in perfect condition, and the buttons run down the entire back of the dress. I had cups sewn into the bust for added support, but they could easily be taken out for a bigger busted woman. I also had silk straps added for my comfort, but they did not alter the structure of the dress and could easily be taken out or tucked in. I had intended to wear the dress strapless for the ceremony and pull the straps up for the rehearsal, but wore the straps the whole time to feel more comfortable. I also had the bustle added. I received so many compliments and felt very comfortable during the wedding. I still love this dress but don't see any point keeping it in a box.

I also wore a chapel length veil with silk ribbon edging that went perfectly with the length of the dress. I paid $500 for the veil, and I'm including it with the dress as well.
