Looking for something elegant, modern, and sophisticated? Amy Kuschel’s Antoinette gown is a timeless silhouette that is crafted in Silk Duchess Satin (it feels and look so rich). Designed with an assymetrically draped waistline that drops into a fluted A-line skirt with a balloon hem that is flouncy and whimsical for pictures, dancing, and walking down the aisle. Originally, this dress included beautiful vintage brooches at the waistline (three small ones at the side and one larger one at the back, that you will see in the photos). I removed them to save as keepsakes before I was planning on selling the dress. They are still in perfect condition, just need to be stitched back on. They give this classic and sophisticated dress something unique and glamorous. The dress also has a French bustle that looks amazing for dancing the night away. This kind of bustle allows the weight of the fabric to be more evenly distributed and the fullness of the fabric from the train is carried lower on the body and not on the waist. The gown was worn once in the fall of 2005 for just a few hours, and has been professionally cleaned and preserved. I am 5’2” and wore 3” heels.
