Beautiful Amy Kuschel dress from a very happy ceremony! I got married last august and bought my dress straight from Amy Kuschel’s boutique in San Francisco! It was love at first sight!!! I am sad to let it go, but I know that it deserves to be a part of another really happy ceremony! If you are looking for something elegant, modern, and sophisticated? Amy Kuschel’s Antoinette dress is a timeless silhouette that is crafted in Silk Duchess Satin (it feels and look so rich). Designed with an asymmetrically draped waistline that drops into a fluted A-line skirt with a hem that is flouncy and whimsical for pictures, dancing, or walking down the aisle. My favorite detail is the vintage brooch at the waistline that gives this classic and sophisticated dress something unique and glamorous. The dress also has a French bustle that looks amazing for dancing the night away. The advantage of the French bustle is the weight of the fabric is more evenly distributed and the fullness of the fabric from the train is carried lower on the body and not on the waist. It is very easy to put up because the bustle loops are numbered. This will save you the hassle and cost of having one put in, since it can be very costly to do so. The gown has been worn once in 2008, and has been professionally cleaned and preserved/boxed. It was altered to fit my size 4 frame. I am 5’4”.
