Stunning Carolina Herrera gown she called Art Gem. Its a trumpet A-line gown in white silk Makado fabric with black lace sash and bows. Chapel length train with a French bustle, lace streamers bustle up too. Purchased at renowned bridal salon Kleinfeld's in New York City. Herrera is known for her fantastic construction, and this gown was a dream to wear. Very comfortable, very flattering cut, and easy to dance in. I wore it to my outside wedding in 98 degree weather and was cool and comfortable. I hated to take it off! This is for any girl looking for a unique wedding gown! I LOVED this dress and so many male guests came up to me saying it was the most beautiful gown they had ever seen. Its a classic, yet modern gown- simple yet striking. I love the dress so much and hope that another bride will feel as special as I did in it. I hate to see it go, but I hate to think of it just hanging in my closet or in a box under my bed. It deserves to be worn again and again. I spent $595 to have it professionally dry cleaned. Appears to be spotless! Questions welcome. Anyone in NYC who wants to come try it on first, please let me know.
