I bought this wonderful dress by Tara Keely, part of the Lazaro line, last year.  The dress was never altered or worn and it's still packed as I received it from Bridals by Danielle, a boutique wedding shop in Philadelphia. 

Tara Keely did a trunk show there and that was when I found the dress and fell in love with it.  If you look at the pictures of the dress on the runway model and the dress on me, you'll see the skirt is different.  For some reason, the skirt for the trunk show gown fell in three layers closer to the floor, while on the runway model the layers of the skirt are more spread out. That was how my dress originally came in after I ordered it, but I just didn't like it as much as at the trunk show, so they sent it back and had it remade for me with the layers of the skirt coming closer to the floor, as you can see on the picture of me. Hope I explained that well.. ;)

The lace detailing on the bodice is absolutely exquisite. It reminds me of the way the tops of their costumes fit in Black Swan.. ;) I was thinking about adding little spaghetti straps to match the bow around the waist, so that is why in the picture of me there's a strap, it's just a little piece of ribbon that was just for trying-on purposes. The dress is strapless.

The dress is at my parents' house, but next time I am there I can take pictures of everything on the actual dress up close. Also if you are in Philadelphia or NYC I can meet you if you'd like to try it on. It's truly a fairy tale, whimsical, amazing dress.
