Dress Description:
Breathtaking Melissa Sweet dress with embroidered organza overlay. Embroidery with pearl beading and clear sequins near bottom of dress and on bodice - very subtle and classy! Fit and flare low profile shape with sweep train that trails a little over a foot behind you. I am including the matching cathedral length veil that has the same flower and vine embroidery - the combination is utterly stunning! I am almost 5'8", and wore 2 inch heels with the dress. Because the back of the dress is low, it was difficult for me to measure the bust, but I wear a 34B, the waist is about a 26.5" and the hip is about 40" opening up into a free hip. There were almost no alterations done, just a little in on the hips and added bra cups and an American bustle (to show off the detailing). I had it cleaned and preserved immediately after the wedding, opened only to measure it and take pictures. I examined it when I took it out of the box, and there is NO dirt on the hem whatsoever. I found a few loose seed pearls, but that is the ONLY thing that shows use, and that can be easily fixed. I LOVED wearing this dress, it is perfect for the bride who wants to look elegant and sleek while maintaining a timeless and traditional look. Veil/Headpiece Description:
Although I fell in love with the dress the moment I put it on, what sealed the deal was the matching cathedral length veil - it has the same embroidery as the dress, with seed pearls sewn into the veil. Since the veil matches, I am including it with the sale of the dress. The embroidery goes up the edges to about the fingertip length, so it's not just on the ends of the veil. I added a blusher veil to the cathedral length veil, but that is removable if you'd prefer it without.
