Dress Details
If you are looking for a beautiful, classy, flattering gown - you've found it! Carolina Herrera named this dress Art Gem and I understand why. It's a very special dress. The gown is made of ivory silk mikado which makes you absolutely glow. It is accented with lovely ivory grosgrain and lace bows on the back. I received a lot of compliments - people especially loved the sweet bows.
It is also a very comfortable dress, and that is very important. You want to feel free to dance the night away, not pained by the weight of your dress. I love this dress. I really wish I could wear it again!
It's in perfect condition. I wore it once and my wedding and reception were both inside. Please email me if you would like to see more pictures or if you have any questions.
I'm willing to negotiate on the price of the dress. I understand the feeling of wanting a dress but being on a tight budget, especially now!
Dress Alterations
Veil / Headpiece Description
I wore my mother's veil, but the wonderful lady who sold me the dress said you could have a veil made to match the lace on the dress - apparently, Carolina Herrera will send you swatches of the lace. I though that would have been gorgeous!
Preservation Method
I had it dry cleaned right after the wedding in mid-October and it has been stored since then.
