Dress Description:

This gorgeous dress is worth around $4000 and is made of silk and alençon lace. I fell in love with this dress but of course it was out of my price range, so now I would like to sell someone her dream dress at a major price cut.

I was lucky because the dress fit me perfectly and the only alteration that was done was a hem. I am 5’4”, and wore 2” heels, and my seamstress did one hem length hem but did not cut any material. This means that you can alter this dress from scratch if you need any alterations.

Details:
Mermaid style dress, but the designer calls it fit and flare, which means that it is fitted until mid-thigh, and then flares out, which is more flattering than a mermaid style (I never thought I could pull of a mermaid style, but I love the way this dress looked on me).

The bottom layer is satin, with covered buttons down the bottom. The top lace layer also has buttons from along the entire length of it.

The satin layer is longer than the lace layer, which makes an interesting detail of satin at the bottom of the dress. The satin layer has an American bustle, and the lace layer has a French bustle, which is really pretty. The bustles are labeled by number/ letter, so it is really easy to do.
