Dress Description:
This is a couture Pronovias from the 2007 collection. It is called Evasion and is IMPOSSIBLE to find. I wore it for my April 2008 wedding and called every store in TX, CA and NY, but none had it. I eventually ordered it straight from Spain through a Pronovias dealer (without trying it on!). The dress is top to bottom lace. It is a strong lace that won't tear, but is comfortable to wear. The sweatheart neckline is rouched which is great for the small chested brides (myself included). The bust is the only area without lace. Tulle peeks out the bottom of the dress and poofs a bit at the bottom. I got SO many compliments on this gown. It is absolutely stunning! It is a trumpet/ mermaid, but does not flare dramatically at the knees. It is a gradual flare starting at the top of the thigh. This dress is a size 8 and has not been altered other than the length and bustle added (removable cups also added). I am 5'6 and wore 4 inch heels. The back of the dress dips low and is so sexy. This is not the normal wedding gown, this is an amazing couture dress that is elegant and gorgeous. Hopefully it will make you feel just as beautiful as it did for me! **The dress has dirt on the bottom and will need to be cleaned. I had too much fun!
