Dress Description:

In March of 2008, Lea-Ann Belter Bridal was presented with the 2007 Canadian Wedding Industry award for Bridal Wear Designer of the Year. This gown is from her 2007 award winning collection and is the Allison in European blush colored silk dupioni with a traditional ball gown silhouette. It’s important to note that this dress is NOT any shade of pink, American or basic blush is more pink while European blush is a deep peach toned ivory. It was an unaltered 10 which has been altered to an 8, meaning it can be further adjusted either up or down if necessary. A rainbow bustle has been constructed for the cathedral length train and the ties are fully in-tact. The bustle is ideal for the gown and was designed by master tailor Toshi Marsh to compliment the fabric and design, although if desired a different bustle could be designed and constructed. The top of the gown has been hand tied with Swarovski crystal beading and pearling and the top of the gown is hand pleated to the waist. The gown was received on 9/11 and worn on 9/13 for an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception. It has no flaws or stains, is in perfect condition, and has been professionally cleaned and cared for.

Veil/Headpiece Description:

The hand made ribbon edged veil (double tiered with blusher if desired) is included and is the identical color to the gown (very difficult to find and most brides with dresses in this tone are forced to wear mismatched ivory), is cathedral length, and has also been bustled by Toshi with a beautiful simple hook and pearled loop design. Also included are 5 custom made hair pins constructed of the same pearls and Swarovski crystals that adorn the top of the gown. The pins are unworn as I chose to wear a tiara instead after purchasing them.
