Dress Description:

The pictures don’t do this absolutely gorgeous dress justice! The flattering strapless sweetheart neckline leads to a chapel length train with box pleating falling at the dropped waist. The dress is fully lined with a double zipper in the back. The inner lining acts as a corset with built in boning to support the waist and bust. The material is a luxurious silk satin with a warm silky sheen. There are several layers of crinoline under the ball gown shape. I preferred less poof and had the crinoline folded in so the dress would fall more naturally. If you prefer a grander effect, the layers can be fluffed out to create a more “poofy” princess look. The train separates into two wide columns that are heavily embroidered with platinum thread and crystal beading with pearls and rhinestones. This gown was altered by an expert seamstress to fit a size 2 - 4. It has been hemmed to fall at my “with heals” height of 5’ 8” (I am normally 5’6” and wore 2” heals). The seamstress also created a custom thirteen-point bustle, which was specifically designed to display the magnificent beadwork on the train. It is in great condition, no missing crystals or beads and barely any wear marks on the hem or train. There is a small snag in the fabric of the bodice and some gentle pulls along the seams of the boning, but noting that a seamstress can’t make perfect again and ready for another bride to wear and enjoy!
