Dress Description:

This dress is beautiful. Very flattering fit, comfortable and easy to slip on. Draped taffeta, trumpet silhouette with a classic button back (although the buttons are decorative - it actually closes with a zipper) and a sweep train. A somewhat casual dress which can be dressed up or dressed down. If there is a David's Bridal near you, I would suggest trying it on in the store - after I tried this dress on, every other dress just seemed boring and boxy! It was beautifully cleaned and is ready to be worn. I had about 3 inches hemmed off (I am 5'6" and I wore flats with the dress, and the hem just touched the ground). The hanger straps have been removed (they couldn't be coaxed to stay tucked while wearing!). However, after it was stored in a box for about 6 months before my wedding, I did not have to steam it or anything to remove wrinkles - the draped taffeta really retains its intended look during storage. The dress doesn't bustle, but the simple strap that can be worn around the wrist to lift the train was also removed, but another can easily be sewn on.
