Beautiful satin wedding gown by designer Melissa Sweet. Tags are still on the gown; it has not been worn. The style is Lia, one of her most popular designs, as it is extremely flattering and modern but still classic. I believe it was once featured on the Today show. The gown is strapless ivory (a warmer ivory, possibly called Candlelight) in a size 6 (bridal size 6). I am a street size 4 and fit into the gown.

The strapless top is beautifully ruched. There is a slight dropped waist and then the gown flares out in a semi-mermaid style (see photos). The buttons run down the full length of the back. The fabric is luxe satin and feels like butter it is so soft. The gown truly glows. I bought it to wear for my May 2012 wedding but I ended up falling in love with a different dress that was more appropriate for my venue (outdoor, woodsy) so it's time to let it go!

I purchased the gown secondhand - the previous owner paid full price (likely over $3,500 based on internet research) and also decided on another gown. The gown will need a minor standard cleaning. There is dust/dirt at the hem from me trying it on, and there is a minor grey smudge on the bottom back, which is barely noticeable and should come out easily with a light cleaning. I have taken this into consideration for the price. This is a gorgeous dress that you would get for a great deal because other women changed their mind.
