Classy, elegant, breathtaking, hard to find Reem Acra gown. "Hymn" is part of the spring 2008 collection. Never worn down the aisle. Selling it only because I love another dress more than this one. Price is 50% off the retail price!!! The front of the dress bears no embellishments. Fabric over the bust is doubled over, with a slight sweetheart and gathering. This detail plays down a large chest, which is one of the reasons I liked it. (I didn't want to be cleavagy in my wedding dress) The back is regal and stunning, revealing breathtaking signature Acra details. Beadwork, crystals and sequins make up a beautiful design, from the top to the bottom. The zipper is middle of the back, hidden. When zipped up, two swaths of satin make up a bow with long ties. I am a size 4 or 6, depending on the store or maker. As you can see in the photos, this dress fits me just about perfectly except of course for the length. The only imperfections that are visible to me are a few loose beads and/or sequins along the zipper. They are few, tiny, and only noticeable by close inspection. This dress HAS NOT BEEN ALTERED.
