This is truly a one-of-a-kind dress and is perfect for that bride that wants a unique look on their wedding day. While dress shopping, I fell in love with 2 Rivini dresses (Vela and Perla). After deciding on the Vela design, I had them design my dress taking some aspects of the Perla dress and using them to create a unique, beautiful dress. Unfortunately, I was never able to wear this dress but I hope that someone else can wear it and feel beautiful on her wedding day. The dress is from the Spring 2006 line and 2 of the pictures below show how the dress was intended (with a jeweled piece under the bust). The alterations (from the Perla design) that were made when the dress was designed were 1) removing the jewel piece and replacing it with a love knot; 2) adding buttons and long ties down the zipper/back. The bust has satin cups and spaghetti straps underneath a lace/netting overlay creating a truly, romantic neckline. The body of the dress is satin with a sheer tulle overlay. The dress was purchased at Solutions Bridal in Winter Park, Florida and housed there for the last year and a half.
