This version is in all Ivory and without the crystals on the hip. I tried many other dresses, but ended up blowing the budget and came back to this one. Now it can be yours for half of the original price!

Strapless silk organza Vera Wang 'Amelia' gown. Strapless bodice has classic Vera Wang folded pleating detail of tissue organza, a slightly dropped waist, with a cascading rosette gathered detail on the right hip. Full skirt, flowing, tissue organza with a sweep train.

If you try to compare a new $3,000 dress or a Vera Wang White by David's Bridal with this one, there will be no comparison. This is a true designer gem. The organza roses are amazing and the Italian Silk is perfect. It's a dress that moves and is classic without being boring. Photographs very well - I don't have all of my wedding photos yet, so I will list them soon!

I spoke extensively with the seamstress to check if the dress could be altered again for someone else and the Vera Wang seamstress assured me that it could so you can buy it knowing that with simple alterations (that you'd have to do anyhow to a new dress) it will feel like new and just for you! I did not have the crystal hip piece added (I thought it was ornate enough on its own) which is reflected in the price. Also, I had it taken in a few inches on the waist, bust and hips due to a wedding diet. There is a bustle as well.
