NEVER WORN Melissa Sweet Mila wedding dress purchased in 2008 at Priscilla of Boston in New York City. The only reason why I decided not to wear it on my wedding is that I fell in love with another dress I found at a sample sale. This is one of Melissa Sweet’s best selling dresses and it is still featured in all of her marketing materials and on her website. This dress is absolutely gorgeous. The silhouette is perfect for any bride wanting to accentuate her curves or create curves, if her figure is narrow. Mila is ivory Italian silk taffeta and it is in the exact condition since picking it up from the store in late July 2008. It has not been removed from the hanging bag except to inspect it. It has been stored in a smoke and pet free home. It is in perfect and ready to wear condition! The alterations to the dress were: raised neckline; opened cup; cut to measure length; taking in the bodice about 1”. The dress bustle was hemmed exactly as Melissa Sweet designed it to be done. I moved the flower that is normally on the left hip of the dress to my waist, but it can be easily moved back to its original place. I have all of the ribbons that originally accompanied the flower. The dress is a size 10, but I am normally a street size 6 or 8.

My height without shoes is 5'4". The dress was cut for me at 5'7".
