I bought this gorgeous gown from the original owner however decided on a different style. This is her information. This Monique Lhuillier “Susan” Wedding gown, was worn for less than two hours at my wedding. The dress was clean and still in perfect condition after the wedding, and was just professionally cleaned and pressed as well. This gorgeous strapless gown is from Monique’s current line, and can be found in the Monique Lhuillier flagship stores as well as other bridal salons that carry ML. The gown was purchased brand new a size 10, but has been taken in (only in the bodice) to fit a size 6-8. My measurements are approximately: bust:34, waist:29, hips:34 (although the hip measurement does not matter, as the dress is free flowing from below the waist). The dress still has original hem (I am 5’8’’ and wore three inch heels, so it did not need to be taken up). The bottom half of the dress is entirely unaltered. This dress could easily be taken in to fit a smaller size. The tailor I went to altered it in only a few days. The bust has a boning, which creates a very flattering line, and you don’t need to wear a bra with this dress. There is a small 1-2 inch train that trails nicely behind you as you walk. I did not bustle the dress, although it has enough material to make a small bustle. The bodice is very delicately pleated in an asymmetrical subtle pattern. At the waist there is a small ruffle, which has an purposeful 'unfinished' look to it. Below the ruffle the dress flows to the floor. The entire dress is made of silk chiffon, and has a very luxurious and delicate look. Great for an outside wedding (or outside pictures) because the material flows so beautifully in the wind, and when walking. I originally paid $3,300 for this dress. I hope the next person to own this dress loves it as much as I do!!

Veil/Headpiece Description:

This veil was hand made specifically to go with this dress. The veil is attached to a metal comb that an be placed in most hair-dos. It fell about 4 inches below the dress itself. This can also be shortened.
