Dress Description:

This is a modified Amy Kuschel Marina dress. The dress was used when I bought it. The seamstress took the dress in on the top to fit me, and also took some of the skirt in to make it a more modified A-line. Additionally, she removed the peplum and the silk flowers on the waist and I replaced it with a very luxurious silk-satin ribbon "inspired" by the Monique Lhuillier one. Also, I had a custom jacket made by the same seamstress, which was also "inspired" by some of Monique Lhuillier designs. I wore the jacket during the ceremony to kind of "cover" my shoulders in the church. I measure 15" across the shoulder. When I got the dress there were some holes in the top organza layer of the dress. My seamstress also fixed those, and it's really hard to see when it's against the white of the dress. Also, she did a version of the American bustle-which was kind of difficult cause the train is pretty long/heavy. The dress has not been cleaned since I wore the dress in June 2008. I had the dress cleaned by a very professional woman in San Mateo. She did an excellent job, and the dress looked new! But she was on the spendy side of $350, but worth every penny because my affordable used dress was just like brand new! I can have the same woman clean it, but the price will be increased by that amount. I prefer to sell within the Bay Area-that way you can come see the dress and buy it if you like it. Otherwise, it will be final sale. I also have 2" white flip flops for the comfortable bride.
