This classic couture bridal gown was designed by Victoria McMillan for the Spring 2005 collection of Alvina Valenta. The dress was purchased at a high end bridal shop in Matthews, NC in August of 2005. Alvina Valenta gowns are known for their timeless elegance, sophistication and most especially their attention to detail. This dress is very elegant and romantic. I felt like a princess in this dress. Details: Crème Silk Duchess Satin strapless A-line gown • Deep alencon lace border at hem • Satin sash and brooch at waist • Covered buttons and loops over zipper at center back • Sweep train. It has only been worn one time. It has a full circular tulle skirt and is finished with a lace hem. It was taken up in length due to it sweeping the ground even in 1-2 inch heels. It was also taken in just a bit around the waist. In addition, the cups in the bodice were custommade for a size 34 C chest. Covered buttons go down the back length of the dress which is a beautiful accent that I was looking for in a wedding dress. The satin sash and brooch on the front are timeless and beautiful. It is a gorgeous dress and deserves to be worn again by someone looking to feel and look like a princess!
