Dress Description:

Absolutely beautiful, elegant Vera Wang gown from this year's Luxe collection. It is a champagne-colored strapless 'A-line gown with overlay of bias taffeta bands & textured floral waist corsage,' (according to the Vera Wang website). Top layer is tulle; tafetta bands wrap around the dress, which makes for great contrast. In the wedding pictures the taffeta shines beautifully against the matte tulle. There is a cluster of leaves and berries on the left side of the bodice. Dress was a sample; it originally retailed for $7500.

The only alteration I had done was to have the dress hemmed about a half inch. I am 5'8 and wore three and a half inch heels. The dress is a size 8; I usually wear a 6 and it fit perfectly. It gives you a gorgeous hourglass shape.

The dress is in great condition. There is some gentle wear on the underside of the train - not at all visible. I wore it for just eight hours for my wedding in June. I was told by many guests at the wedding, as well as the florist and other vendors, that it was the most beautiful wedding dress they had ever seen. The quality of the dress is evident.

This dress would be amazing for a fall wedding, given its darker shade of ivory and the cluster of leaves.
