This was the first gown I tried, and just knew that this was "the one." A simple, and elegant gown that will stand the test of time.... a non-trendy gown that you won't be embarrassed that you wore 10 years from now. Great for tall brides as the length of gown was not altered. Gown was worn only once, and professionally cleaned. Made of 100% silk. Manufacturer size 14, but I fit into the size 12 sample at the bridal store. Dress is altered so it can be bustled. Bust of dress has horizontal layers of opaque silk with a slight sheen. The dress has several layers of material, but the top layer is a semi-sheer silk, and has a train.
