This dress is for the bride that wants to look old style Hollywood Glamor on her wedding day! It is rare to find such a unique dress of this exceptional quality that is modern and sophisticated, yet romantic. It is an elegant sheath /empire silhouette of heavy-weight silk charmeuse with two layers of silk lining and accented with French silk tulle. The bias cutting and luxurious fabric give it a wonderful figure hugging drape but it's also quite forgiving due to the extra lining and flattering banding at the natural waistline. The sheer French silk tulle sleeves and sash are what make this dress stand out. The tulle sash could be tied in the back in a bow or not...The tulle sleeves are removable but why would you want to do that??? It is a bridal size 4 and was hemmed for a 5'4" woman wearing approx. 3 inch heels. measurements 33.5 bust waist 24.5 hip 37. This dress was worn once to my wedding in OCT 07 and professional cleaned to perfection. Please note - there is a tiny thread snag on dress, a small tear in the tulle sash near the end of the train and some very light staining underneath the hem but when worn they are not visible. since the shape of the back is so beautiful I opted to have 3 "finger holders" sewn in to pick up the bottom instead of a traditional bustle. I received very many compliments on this dress and I felt spectacular in it - it was extremely light and comfortable to wear. I wanted to wear it forever but since that is not really a possibility I am hoping someone else can appreciate this amazing dress as well.
