This is truly a stunning dress. Hundreds of fabric-covered buttons sweep down the back all the way to the end of the chapel-length train. The embroidery and beading is absolutely beautiful, and sparkles even from across the room. Tiered piping and a modified sweetheart neckline make this a timeless choice. I received many compliments on this dress, and I hope you will feel beautiful in it on your special day!
I have just now removed the dress from its protective boxing to assess and photograph it in order to list it for sale. The dress is just as beautiful as I remembered it -- but with even more sparkle! There is a faint tan line at the bottom .25" of the hem in the front of the dress (as shown in photo), which may be hidden with slight hemming. There is also a small scratch on the back of the dress (as shown in the photo to the left of the baggie of extra beads) where the bustle thread came out, and we used a pin to hold the bustle in place for approximately 30 minutes). I did not see any other stains, nor did I see any missing beads or covered buttons.
The dress retailed for approximately $3,000. I received a discount because I purchased it at a Matthew Christopher trunk show. The actual price I paid is listed above.

- The hem was taken up approximately half an inch, resulting in the above-noted 5'7" height (with shoes). The waist was also taken in slightly, making this a street size 6. The bustle thread came out during the final 30 minutes of the reception, so you will need to add a bustle should you desire one. Snaps were added to the lining so that the dress may snap into the bustier bra. If you would like the bustier bra (size 34C), please let me know, as I am happy to include it with the dress. The manufacturer's baggie of extra buttons and beads is also included with the dress. The dress could be taken in to a street size 4, fits a street size 6 now, and may be able to be let out a bit, as well.
- VEIL / HEADPIECE DESCRIPTION
- I wore a white fingertip-length veil with a 1/8" white ribbon trim (the dress store advised me to get this because they said it would keep the veil from fraying throughout the day). I wore the veil for approximately 1.5 hours. The purchase price was $275. I will include the veil free of charge if the dress is purchased at full price.
- PRESERVATION METHOD
- The dress was professionally dry cleaned immediately after use, and has been stored in its protective boxes, in my closet, in our climate-contolled, non-smoking home. The dress will be shipped in its protective boxes.
