I am selling my gorgeous wedding dress that I absolutely love. I wish I could keep it and wear it again, but my husband says that it’s not “practical.”

The dress has been professionally cleaned, but I did not have it pressed since you will surly press it after it has been shipped and fitted. I've included photos from my final fitting and professional wedding photos. There are no spots or blemishes on the dress and it is like new. It was only worn once on my wedding day.

Dress  Description: 

Romona Keveza Couture Silk Taffeta Gown, RK 830.

Gorgeous, couture gown has a one-shoulder, or sleeve, sweetheart neckline and watteau train. It has ruching from the bust through the hips and is a “fit and flare” type style. The back features a half, vertical bow that cascades into the lengthy train. No sequins, no lace, a very sophisticated look. If undesired, the one-shoulder piece can be sewn into the back of the dress for a symmetrical neckline. I wore the shoulder piece out for the ceremony and cocktail hour and simply tucked it in for the reception (see 2nd to last photo above). Due to the bow on the back, the dress is ideal with a short or birdcage veil. The model was veil-less on Romona Keveza’s runway.  I have an athletic build and a straight up and down waist, but this dress gave me a beautiful curve just under my ribcage.

Size: No official label size. (Although I guessed a label size 4 for the purpose of this listing.) Custom made for me. I am a street size 2/4, 5’7”, 34C, worn with 3-inch heels.

The dress has been professionally cleaned and is stored in the original Chic Parisien garment bag. Chic Parisien did some alterations after it was delivered in August 2011, cutting it down smaller from bust through hips. Chic Parisien also did the French bustle and put some padding (easily removable) in the bust. Included are two videos made while I was having my final fitting explaining how to do the bustle by the seamstress. They are in Spanish with an English translation. Please contact me after the auction and I can email them to you if you wish. They were a lifesaver for my bridesmaids on my wedding day. This dress is in perfect condition, having one owner, worn one day in October 2011.

In the show, the woman who purchases the dress’s godmother makes a comment that the dress looks like a red carpet dress.  I certainly felt like a starlet wearing this dress. Our wedding photographer told me it was one of the best dresses he’s ever seen.
