This is a listing for the Monique Lhuillier silk taffeta Mystique skirt only. I paired it with the Monique Lhuillier Meringue bodice and it was the most beautiful dress ever! I am still receiving compliments on it! I purchased the skirt at full price for $3080 at a boutique in the New York City metro area. I am also including the white sash that accompained the dress - it was originally purchased for over $300.
Note that the brooch shown in one of the pictures is not included. The picture that shows the back of the skirt is covered mostly by my veil (also not included) - please remember that the material is silk taffeta with no lace or added detail.
My height with heels is 5'9" and the length was perfect. The skirt can be worn as a dropped waist or a natural waist. I chose to do the natural waist with the sash; however, the dress looked stunning with a dropped waist as well!
- DRESS ALTERATIONS
- A bustle was added to the dress, although the train is not long to begin with. The bustle includes 5 bows, very easy to tie or untie. The skirt was altered by professionals, one of the most highly rated shops in the New York City metro area. In addition to the bustle, the waist was taken in, but only very slightly. The hem was not taken up and there were no other alterations to the dress.

- The dress was professionally cleaned only 6 days after the wedding. It is in excellent condition. There were no stains or other lasting markings on the skirt.
