Authentic 100% silk satin ballgown by Priscilla of Boston purchased in the IL salon. The dress has a beautiful asymmetric bubble hem in front and an under bustle. The detail on the dress is a crystal waistband with a hint of a silver color. It has a slight sweetheart neck and a lower v-back with bottons down to the waist. The dress is amazing on the body and completely gorgeous. The dress is altered down slightly to between a size 2 and 0 (though I generally wear a 4 in street clothes) but the hem has not been adjusted and the alterations can be removed. The bustle is 12 points and mirrors the hem on the front of the dress so that when bustled, the bubble effect goes all around.
The dress is professionally cleaned and sealed and there was no damage from wearing it. I also have all of the tags and receipts. Also, my ivory cathedral length veil was cleaned and preserved with the dress so I will be including that with the purchase.

- DRESS ALTERATIONS
- The measurements listed are MY measurements but the dress can be let out a few inches is necessary. The standard dress size has a 33" bust and the material was never cut when it was altered. The length has not been altered at all. A 12-point under bustle was added so when the dress is bustle, the bubble effect looks like it goes all the way around the dress.
- VEIL / HEADPIECE DESCRIPTION
- I am including the veil because it was preserved with the dress. The veil is an ivory cathedral-length veil that is slightly longer than the train on the dress. It has 2 layers- the one long layer and a blusher. The veil is a drop veil so it does not gather at all when the blusher is down. There is a comb to hold it in place.
- PRESERVATION METHOD
- The dress was professionally cleaned and sealed immediately after the wedding. It has been kept in the preservation box, then in another box and stored in a cool dark closet since.
