Ivory Silk Organza Trumpet bridal gown, one shoulder draped elongated bodice, chiffon, lace and crystal cascade skirt, chapel train.
I absolutely fell in love with this dress the second I put it on. I was hesitant about the bottom since it's so unexpected, but it looked so great on (and the back is incredible), I knew I had to get it. This dress was by far my favorite part of the wedding, other than of course marrying my husband. I bought the dress at a trunk show making it less than the retail price of $3,685.
- DRESS ALTERATIONS
- I would pay attention to my street size of zero. The dress was taken in throughout the waist and hips. There are also cups sewn into the top to help me out in the bust area. It has not been hemmed - my shoes made me the perfect height. A bustle was also incorporated.
- VEIL / HEADPIECE DESCRIPTION
- I wore a cheap veil from David's Bridal that I don't have anymore. I wanted the dress to be the focus!
- PRESERVATION METHOD
- Cleaned by the drycleaner (not preserved) and stored in my bedroom in plastic dress bag.
