Dress Description:

Elle is a classic style from the Monique Lhuillier wedding collection. It has a latte colored lace bodice and an attached white tulle skirt. For my wedding, I modified the dress by removing the center lace band that encircles the waist, which also has an attached latte colored silk ribbon that slightly distressed (this distressed ribbon is how it comes new from Monique). I also removed several small bows that were attached to the skirt at the back. I have saved these items and they are new in perfect condition.

I added to my dress a silk ribbon for a halter style and a spray of graduated Swarovski crystals to the skirt. My seamstress assures me that the dress can by restored to its original form by having the removed pieces reattached and the halter ribbon removed. The crystals have been mostly lost and fallen off during the cleaning process. They simply pop off when you touch them. You can add them back via a seamstress or finish removing them by touching the remaining ones.

The only issue with this dress is a small stain at the back of the bodice in the upper right area below your shoulder blade. It is purple-hued (wine?) and I have included a photo which shows it in the middle of the picture that is focused in on the dress pattern. The Wedclean service was able to remove a similar much larger stain from the underarm area. I am not sure why this one could not be removed.

This is a dream dress for a dream wedding. Handmade in France during the fall of 2007. It could be yours to wear for your special day!
