Gorgeous Oleg Cassini CT232 wedding gown! If you are going for that "princess" look, this gown is PERFECT! Strapless A-line satin wedding gown with organza overlay and intricate beadwork throughout. Satin band at natural waistline with fauz pearl and CZ brooch detail. (I removed the original brooch because I thought it looked cheap. My brooch is far more elegant). I purchased this gown in Fall 2009 from David's Bridal for my Spring 2010 wedding. Gown was worn once, dry cleaned, and preserved by David's. Comes in preservation box. No defects, rips, tears, or missing beadwork.
- DRESS ALTERATIONS
- I had the gown taken in a bit from the waistline up, for a more firm fit. This gown is heavy, due to the beadwork, so I wanted it tight! My measurements were 33.5-27.5-35. Gown was hemmed to give about 1/2" from the ground for someone 5'6 in 3" heels. I had the cheap looking original brooch removed, and replaced it with a faux pearl and CZ piece. I bought an oversized costume ring from Belk, removed the jewel from the ring, and had it sewn to the dress in place of the old brooch. FAR more elegant, and adds some personalization to the gown. Bustle is a combination over-bustle and under-bustle. When the gown is bustled, you can't even tell you've done it. It just transforms into a floor length gown without a train. Gorgeous!
