A breathtaking dress that has ruched bodice adorned with beading and embroidery.
I absolutely loved this dress from Avant Mariee (a subsection of Winnie Couture) for my ceremony in Oct 2011. It is so beautiful and unique. According to the designer, it supposed to be a ball gown…but I think it looks more like the modified mermaid with a big puff on the bottom (best of both worlds). There are a lot of beading and crystals in the front (see pictures). In addition, this dress really made me look thin around the waist area and created that hourglass look that I wanted. I only wore it for the formal photo shoot and ceremony (so about 1.5 hours)…it is in "like new" condition. Please feel free to email or call me about this dress.
- DRESS ALTERATIONS
- The ordered dress was in size 8…I had the bust, waist, and hip area taken in since I am usually a street size 2 to 4. We also added paddings for the bust area (I am a 32C, so the inserts are c cup), it should be easy to remove if needed.
- VEIL / HEADPIECE DESCRIPTION
- The veil that I had was a custom made and paid for about $200. I will sell it for $100 if you are interested. It is one layer and elbow length with crystals...goes really well with the dress!
