Beautiful lace wedding gown purchased in 2008.  It was purchased from a bridal boutique in Lincoln Park that specilizes in off-the-rack wedding gowns.  As such, the designer label has been replaced with a Weddings 836 label.

This romantic dress is a v-neck ball gown with a chapel-length train.  The dress is constructed of a soft pink-champagne/ cafe au lait color base overlaid with ivory Alençon lace. A satin waist sash is provided which accents the champagne-pink underlay.  The sash trails along the train in the back with lace accents.   The ivory lace of this gown has a dainty scalloped edge along the neckline and at the hem.

The dress is a street size four with significant boning in the bodice making the bodice very sturdy.  It has two layers of tulle beneath the skirt providing ample body in the classic ball gown style.   (I spoke to an alterations company that indicated that some of this tulle could be removed to give a more a-line appearance for the dress). Back zipper closure.  The train is equipped with a wrist strap for easier movement.
