A beautiful floorlength ivory chiffon dress. The chiffon fabric gathers towards the center of the bust. Gorgeous embroidered beadwork trims the contoured strapless neckline and wraps in bands around midsection. The beadwork ends at the slightly dropped waist. A delicate chiffon ruffle cascades down the back and onto the chapel length train. The back has a zipper that is covered by a beaded over-lay that snaps to the dress (You can see it in the close-up picture of the back. You can also see how the dress sparkles in low lighting).
It can be worn with most any strapless bra (no fancy wedding bra required) and has an underlayer so it does not require a slip (though one could be added if you wanted a fuller, more ballroom effect).
Matching ivory shawl and removable spaghetti straps will be included.
- DRESS ALTERATIONS
- The length was not altered at all (I am 5'7" and have a tall husband so I just wore 4 inch heels). 9 Buttons and 9 loops were added so the train can be bustled underneath the chiffon ruffle. I have included a picture of it bustled. The seamstress took in the side seams, but was only supposed to take it in at the waist not by the ribs. With the first alterations, I struggled to breath. As such, the section by the ribs was later let back out and slightly different beads were added near the seam for continuity of the pattern (the difference in beading is minimal and not noticeable since it is under the arms. I mention it only for full disclosure. I think honesty is important)
