This is the Frederique dress by Melissa Sweet at Pricilla of Boston. This beautiful A line dress with draping in the back flatters your figure. It was one of the top run-way dresses in 2010 and retailed for $3400.00
The dress has a hint of 1920's movie star elegance. The decorative satin flower at the waist, along with the ruching around the bust and back, and the back drape adds detail to this sleek style. I added a rhinestone broach to the inside of the flower to add a hint of glamour. The broach is not included with the purchase of the dress. I am keeping it for sentimental reasons.
The dress is made of silk satin that drapes well on the body as with all Melissa Sweet dresses.
It has a small light brown stain next to the right seam at about the knee level in the body of the dress. It is smaller than a dime in size. (close up picture of stain included) There are 3 small snags in the bust area that have been repaired. The snags are only visible with close scrutiny. All imperfections were present on the dress when I purchased it because it was a sample when I bought it. No one even noticed the flaws and I felt like a movie star on my wedding day.

- The dress has had full alterations including full french bustle. The label size of the dress was a size 10. The dress was taken in on the sides to fit my body. My measurements are 36-32-41. The dress was hemmed to be floor length to fit someone 5' 8" with 2 inch heals.

- The dress has been professionally dry cleaned at a dry cleaners who specializes in wedding dresses. It has been stored in a plastic dress bag, the one that came with the dress.
