I LOVE this Gown! - This Augusta Jones (Skye) wedding gown was exactly as I described when searching for the perfect dress: whimsical, modern, and something a little different.  The sweetheart neckline is such a flattering fit for a smaller bust size like mine.  That, combined with the hidden corset, drop-waist, and sizable heels, I floated around in my dress my entire wedding day and night.  

The details:

The bust of the dress is made from ivory taffeta which is slightly gathered across the entire bodice.  The dress has a corseted bodice on the inner layer (which is such a nice detail in the dress quality and functionality - no bras needed!).  However, there is an outer layer which simply zips over the corset, concealing it.  The bust of the dress is separated from the skirt by beautifully intricate beading detail at the bottom of the drop waist.  The skirt is an organza like material which is the most interesting part - the material is hand-sewn into large floral shapes which cover the length of the entire skirt - these are slightly raised off of the dress giving it that textured, whimsical look.  At the very bottom of the skirt, there is a delicate lace detail on the hem.

Condition:

This gown is in perfect condition.  No spills, no rips, and no dirt or even left over deodorant.  It is from the August Jones 2010 collection and will be just perfect for any type of ceremony:  from a formal indoor ceremony to an outdoor or country wedding, this is a STUNNER that I will be a little sad to see go.

Upon receipt of the gown, the length of the inspection/return period will be ten days. If the gown is not returned and in my possession ten days after receiving the gown shipment, the sale will be final. I am willing to allow potential buyers to come and see the gown in person.
